Beach Trip 2008

After our 2004 family trip to Cannon Beach, we all agreed that we wanted to go back sometime after Marc returned from his mission. So we chose the week of July 28 - August 2 of 2008. I think everyone would agree that we had a whole week of fun in the sand and sun!!

Marc and...

We all met in Longview the day before we checked in to spend some time as a family visiting with Grandma Price.

For many of us, we hadn't been back to Grandpa's grave since his funeral. But it was the first time all of us were able to see his headstone.

This is the house we rented. It fit all 5 families very comfortably and was only 1/2 block from the beach. From the kitchen windows we looked out to the ocean.

We obviously spent a majority of our time hanging out on the beach and playing in the water.

We spent one day doing a fun Price tradition, crabbing. We rented 3 boats for 1 1/2 hours and caught a lot of crab, but only 2 were legal to keep.

"Boys Only" Fishing Trip

It is becoming a tradition for the men in our family to take their sons on a "boys only" fishing trip to Gooseberry Reservoir. They camp Friday night and then fish Saturday. For some of the young boys, this was their first time going, and they can't wait until next year.

Welcome Home Marc!!

After what seemed to be 2 long years, Marc returned from serving in the Quezon City, Philippines Mission. All of us were excited for him to be home, especially his nieces and nephews.

Saying Farewell to Granpa Price

On March 4th we gathered in Longview to say farewell to Grandpa Price who passed away suddenly. We all loved him very much and still find it hard to believe that he is no longer on this earth. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and painter. We look forward to the day when we will be able to spend time with him again.

I found it amazing that all of the cousins but 4 were able to make it to Grandpa's funeral. Some of us hadn't seen each other for a few years, but it was fun spending the weekend together.

Thanksgiving 2007

This year Thanksgiving was hosted at Colby and Cydney's home and we had a mix of the Price and Rollins family and a few friends. Everyone seemed to have a great time!

As Jake is more than happy to show, we had lots of good food.

It's only Sparkling Cider!!

After dinner, the kids decided to have their own party without adults. Hannah, Jake, Tyler, Brandon, Emily and Devin. (Devin is showing his support for the Cougars!)

I think it's safe to say the cousins really enjoy getting together.

4 wheeling - September 17, 2007

Colby and Cydney's family took Jared and Leah's family for their first 4-wheeling experience. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids.
